You should definitely take a look at the season: There is still a short time as a PS5 demo and with a release date

Season exudes a very unique, melancholic charm.

Season exudes a very unique, melancholic charm.

Season: A letter to the future is probably only a few on the screen, but that could change now: the small but fine indie game was supposed to be released for the PS5 in 2022, but was then postponed to 2023. Now it has missed a surprisingly early release date and can also be played as a free demo version.

Season is coming soon and you can even try it now

This is Season: The PS4, PS5 and PC game takes us into a world that is doomed. That’s why we explore the melancholic world by bike and try to capture as much of it as possible. It doesn’t matter if it’s sounds, pictures or memories.

We record noises, photograph people or special places and record everything in a kind of photo album. Season seems pleasantly relaxed and really nice to look at. The title exudes a charm of its own.

Check it out in the new season trailer from The Game Awards 2022:

Release date is finally here: After Season was announced at the Game Awards 2020, it was postponed to 2023. The new release date was then announced at the awards ceremony on Friday night and it is surprisingly within reach. We don’t have to wait that long anymore:

  • On January 31, 2023 Season released for PS5, PS4 and PC (Steam and Epic)

You can pre-order Season now and in the PlayStation Store the title costs only 29.99 euros.

There is also a demo, but not for long! In the same breath with the announcement of the release date, it was also revealed that Season will receive a free-to-play PS5 demo. You can try it right now, but it is only available for a limited time.

  • Until December 12th you can play the season demo for free on the PS5.

In addition, Season should also use the special functions of the PS5 controller. The haptic feedback of the DualSense controller is supported as well as the adaptive triggers. Both are used, for example, when riding a bicycle.

What do you think of the prospect of the upcoming release? Do you try the demo?
