What is the DreamHack anyway? The DreamHack brand has been licensed for Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH in the German market since 2022 and is accordingly implemented by the Berlin e-sports veterans. Freaks 4U is a leading provider for everything to do with gaming and e-sports and is therefore the ideal organizer for the festival.

There are exciting e-sports tournaments
In addition to the LAN area, the core of the DreamHack are the e-sports tournaments, in which top teams and LAN teams play for fame, honor and prize money. Various top matches are still waiting for you in Hanover at the end of the year – held on a total of 3 stages.
Two titles are all about the ESL Championship Autumn 2022. While the big stage in Teamfight Tactics is about 8,000 euros in prize money between the 8 best players from Austria and Germany, the popular tactical shooter Counter Strike: Global Offensive is also the deciding factor which team secures 50,000 euros.
If you prefer to see the heroic tactical shooter Valorant from Riot Games instead of Counter Strike, you will also get great entertainment. The final of the Valorant Regional League DACH: Evolution – Unity will take place from December 15th to 17th. held on the DreamHack Hannover E-Sport Stage.
You are Age of Empires II professionals? Then the international Age of Empires II tournament “The Grand Melee MMXXII”, played on the stage for 3 full days, is just what you need. There is a tabletop area
The DreamHack is not just an event where digital games are played. Rather, the spectacle is also aimed at friends of analogue card, board and role-playing games. There will also be a dedicated tabletop area of over 1000 square meters.

There’s a LAN party that anyone can join
In addition to the tournaments, the DreamHack has another core element – the LAN area. Bring your own computer (BYOC) applies here. So you can – just like in the good old days – pack up your PC (or your console) and set it up on site. Then plug into the specially secured and powerful LAN and gamble live with the other participants on site.
Would you also like to win something and show your skills on the stage? There will be various tournaments in the LAN area that you can participate in. Not only LAN classics and fun games await you here, such as Blobby Volley or Fall Guys – some larger titles such as League of Legends, Valorant and CS:GO are also about prize money or prizes. The final rounds of some tournaments are then decided on the big stage in front of an audience.
A special LAN ticket is required to access the LAN area. This gives you access to the Festival & Expo area of DreamHack Hannover for the entire event and, on top of that, a table and chair in the LAN area, a power and LAN connection, access to the showers and relaxation areas and the opportunity to take part in the tournaments (depends on availability). The ticket is available in two price categories:
- Regular pass: For 99.00 euros you get a normal chair, a table 90 centimeters wide and a 100Mbit/s Ethernet connection.
- Premium pass: For 139.00 euros there is an upholstered chair, a table 120 centimeters wide and a 1,000 Mbit/s Ethernet connection.

There is cosplay
Large gaming festivals have always attracted creative cosplayers who present their creations on site and let the visitors admire them. This also applies to the DreamHack Hannover 2022.
In addition to the “Cosplay Village” with meet & greet areas, photo walls and repair station, various special guests have also been invited to the event. For example, the German Garrison 501st will be there with walking acts and a booth in the Cosplay Village.
The most beautiful cosplays in Germany can then also be admired on the stage – the decision of the cosplay contest will take place on Saturday, in which the 26 participants will compete for a prize pool of EUR 5,000.

There is a Creator Hub with Meet & Greet
The DreamHack 2022 in Hanover offers you gaming, tournaments, LAN parties and cosplay. But one thing is still missing to make the event perfect: Content Creators! But don’t worry, the organizers have invited loads of creators and influencers who you can also meet live.
DreamHack Hannover also offers a stage for smaller streamers: Small creators can also apply to get a place in the Stream Studio and also to organize Meet & Greets with their communities.
From December 15th to 17th the “Gamevasion” will also take place. In it, the Rocket Beans, together with Freaks 4U Gaming, organize a colorful program with Letsplays and shows. The whole thing is moderated by JustJohnny.
