"A few more things" are planned for Elden Ring, says Miyazaki

The Game Awards 2022 ended surprisingly with no DLC announcement for Elden Ring. After developer FromSoftware’s title had already won a number of awards and was ultimately voted Game of the Year, Hidetaka Miyazaki dropped a few words about the future of Soulslike in his acceptance speech.

More projects, more games

“As for Elden Ring, we still have some things we want to do and this GOTY award is really encouraging to us,” said the director on stage.

Just a few days ago, Elden Ring received the free Colosseum update. And FromSoftware doesn’t want to stop there. Much more content should come to the fans of the dark game. Unfortunately, Miyazaki didn’t specifically mention an expansion, and so the hoping and waiting continues.

To the delight of all fans of extra challenging entertainment, Miyazaki said he decided to create games that are even better than Elden Ring.

“I plan to make more interesting games than this one,” he said.
