Assassin's Creed Valhalla does not get Steam Achievements

Ubisoft has confirmed that the Steam version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will not get any achievements.

More than two years after its original release, the game was also offered on Steam last week.

Unsupported

There were corresponding inquiries from fans in the community area on Steam, to which Ubisoft has now responded.

“Since there was a lot of speculation, we would like to officially confirm: Steam achievements are not supported by this title,” is the publisher’s disappointing answer for fans.

Achievements are instead available via Ubisoft Connect.

“We apologize for the disappointment this has caused and hope you can still enjoy the game,” Ubisoft continues.

But for some, that’s not enough. Dissatisfied fans are giving the game negative reviews on Steam and requesting refunds.

It remains to be seen whether Ubisoft will reconsider this.
