Blue Protocol: More impressions of the live service game

Amazon Games and Bandai Namco Online are bringing Blue Protocol 2023 to the West. Now there are more impressions of the game.

Amazon Games and Bandai Namco Online Inc. have announced that they will co-publish the stylish, anime-inspired, online multiplayer action RPG Blue Protocol in Europe, North America, South America, Australia and New Zealand.

Blue Protocol will be released in the second half of 2023 for free for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. A closed beta for PC will also take place in 2023.

Co-developed by Bandai Namco Online Inc. and Bandai Namco Studios, Blue Protocol takes players on a heroic journey through Regnas, a world teetering on the brink of collapse after millennia of conflict and overuse of technology.

Anime continues to grow in popularity around the world and we’re excited to bring Blue Protocol to gamers in the West next year.”

Players must team up and unlock the mysterious light called Flux to defeat powerful enemies. Build your character from the ground up and choose from five unique classes at launch: the powerful Blade Warden, brave Twin Brute, flexible Arrow Stalker, multi-layered Fluxweaver, or damage-focused Foebreaker.

They are aided by the Echoes, mystical incantations that help them awaken their memories and save the world.

Blue Protocol is the latest addition to Amazon Games’ lineup of high-quality live service games, including Lost Ark and New World. The collaboration follows publishing agreements with leading studios around the world, such as Smilegate RPG, Glowmade and Disruptive Games.
