Guild Wars 2 Essential Item Available Again – Don’t Miss Out!
On December 13, 2022, Guild Wars 2 will once again be celebrating Wintersday. The Christmas festival in Tyria attracts with all kinds of activities and rewards you with special skins and resources. Among other things, you capture many snowflakes. And you can invest exactly this in a great feature that is only available via the GW2 shop, strictly speaking only in the cold season: the Snowflake Eater. This awesome shop item is now available again – and we strongly encourage you to pick it up. But what does the snowflake eater do? And what do you need it for? We’ll tell you!
What is the snowflake eater in GW2?
Above all, the name says it all: the snowflake eater is a “converter” item. Such “gobblers” in Guild Wars 2 (buy now €49.95 ) is for Unleashed Magic (Sentient Singularity), bloodstone dust (Maulrey II), dragonite ore (princess) and various other resources that you want to throw away en masse because their actual recipes and uses are uninteresting. The Snowflake Eater turns snowflakes into something very, very useful that makes you forget the cost of 400 gems.

What is the Snowflake Eater good for?
You activate that Snowflake Eater, receive either a Wintersday Gift or a 15-minute buff: Feast Feeder Boost for five Snowflakes. This is exactly what it’s about. Its bonuses are as follows:
- +25% experience points for defeated opponents
- +25% gold for defeated opponents
- +25% reward path progression in PvP and WvW

This unique effect stacks for up to 24 hours and does not overlap with other experience point or reward track boosters (e.g Hero Booster or birthday booster). In this way you can get even higher bonuses than are actually possible. This is great for fans of WvW and PvP because they’ll get more rewards, but also for players who don’t really like the modes: those who don’t like WvW and PvP will have to play less of them to get rewards! Especially when building a Legendary, which one gift of battle requires, PvE fans have to look into WvW at the latest.

This tip protects you from burning money
If you want to get a long booster right away, you shouldn’t use more than 96 activations, i.e. 480 snowflakes at once: You don’t get more than 24 hours of the feast-eater boost, after that the snowflakes fizzle out, but they’re still used up! So it’s better to first see what boost duration you’ve reached after 96 uses.
