Meet Your Maker: Release date for the first-person building and raid game

The first-person building and raiding game Meet Your Maker will be released in April 2023 on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Behavior Interactive, the studio behind the hit horror multiplayer game Dead by Daylight, has announced the official release date of their upcoming new IP Meet Your Maker, along with a trailer to match:

Players around the world can experience the first-person building and raiding game on April 4th, 2023 on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Behavior Interactive has also announced a new beta playtest for Meet Your Maker. Interested parties can now apply for the Beta Playtest Sign up, which will launch on Steam this winter.

What is Meet Your Maker? Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic first-person building and raiding game where each level is designed by players for players. The gameplay revolves around the creation and infiltration of self-contained levels called outposts.

Players take on the role of the Custodian serving the Chimera, a living experiment created as a last resort to save life on Earth. Switching between the roles of Builder and Raider, they engage in a tactical battle for the planet’s most coveted resource and the key to the Chimera’s evolution: pure genetic material (GenMat).

However, this GenMat is not easy to obtain. Players must build and fortify maze-like outposts that guard the precious GenMat, or infiltrate and outwit other players’ creations to collect more.

So while fortifications full of traps and guards need to be designed, it’s also a task to simultaneously gear up for methodical and fast-paced combat to ambush other players’ creations.

• Create to Destroy: Builders must create outposts designed to lure, trick, and kill unauthorized players. They combine a huge array of customizable blocks, traps, and guards as they strategically build their deadly masterpiece.
• Outsmart to Survive: Players must also raid outposts constructed by others. Each outpost will test courage, wits, and reflexes as they try to get in, grab the GenMat, and get it out alive. No outpost is like the other, which ensures a high replay value.
• Cooperate and Connect: Those looking to play together can pool their creativity and build with a friend, or team up to raid outposts as a team of two.
• Unlock and Upgrade: Players can invest collected GenMat to expand their arsenal of traps, guards, weapons, suits and more.
