Netflix could simulcast season 2 of Vinland saga

The Netflix platform has added to its catalog the Vinland Saga anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura with a new episode on January 9, 2023. This coincides with the scheduled premiere of the second season, so it is possible that Netflix is ​​planning a “simulcast (airs episodes on the same day as Japan)” of the series, which would be unprecedented (the platform has never done this).

It should be noted that there is no official confirmation that the simulcast will take place, although the catalog makes it clear that there will be a new episode on this date. But if not, you can always go to Crunchyroll, which also has the distribution rights.

On the other hand, Makoto Yukimura’s manga began serialization in Kodansha’s weekly shonen magazine in April 2005, but in December 2005 it was moved to the monthly Afternoon Magazine.
