apology apply it to players and then use damage spells to cause healing is also how the Discipline Priest plays in Dragonflight. Next to Power Word: Shield (now has a cooldown) carry Atonement with you Flash Heal and renovation on. Shadow word: death also provides Atonement healing in Dragonflight and can be improved via talents, which provides a lot of Atonement healing when mobs die. Both the Raid and M+ builds are fully focused on maximum Atonement healing. In the raid, of course, you want to atone and skill more targets Shiny studentPreacher and upgraded Wrath of Light further over Magnificent light and Unleashed Rage.
In Mythic Plus, you don’t need all of these group effects, but use the shadow talents for a more solid group heal shadow alliance and shadow devotion With. Take both builds twilight balance with around which most of your gameplay is built. As a result, your shadow spells will increase the damage of the next Holy spell and vice versa. So before you cast a strong holy spell like Light’s Wrath, use a shadow spell like Schism. On the other hand, before using Mind Games, you use Holy Torment, for example, to improve the strong cooldown.
dungeons
1. Power Word: Shield (once ready)
2. Word of power: life (when target is below 35% health)
3. purification of evil (maintain)
4. renovation (to make apologies)
5. Flash Heal (to apologize to you and the target)
6. mind blow (once ready)
7. atonement
8th. Shadow word: death (when target is below 20% health)
9. Holy torment (Fill Spell for Atonement Cure)
You usually accept forgiveness with renewal or, if ready, word of power: shield up. If you want to cast Atonement on both the target and yourself, use Flash Heal, which applies the effect to both targets thanks to the Binding Heals talent. Then you have to deal as much damage as possible depending on the missing life points of your opponents. For example with the combo off schism and mind games / Wrath of Light as well as Atonement, Mind Strike and the DoT purification of evil, which should always be active as a kind of HoT. Otherwise you doctored players about the atonement healing of Holy torment and Word of power: life (at 35 percent health) when no other major or minor cooldown is ready. You work for the group healing Divine Star and Word of power: shine.
raid
In the raid, your style of play revolves around the so-called “ramp” phase – i.e. the start-up phase before damage occurs. Your goal is to apply Atonement to as many players as effectively as possible before damage occurs, then use your damage cooldowns to deal damage during the Atonement buff duration. Especially in small raid groups, it’s enough for the beginning if you for the ramp phase purification of evil refreshes, a few goals with renovation / Power Word: Shield occupied and twice Word of power: shine acts before its damage with schism, Wrath of Light, mind games and the rest of the usual damage rotation (Atonement, Mind Blast, Agony).
If you want to get the most out of your ramp phase, you have to memorize a whole series of spells and work through the following magic sequence about 12 seconds before damage occurs:
1. Make sure Strict Discipline is active and refreshing purification of evil on
2. Assigns 4-5 goals renovation and in between 1-2 goals with Power Word: Shield
3. Uses Flash Heal on the last target (so you and the target get forgiveness)
4. shadow spirit
5. 2x Word of power: shine
6. schism
7. Wrath of Light
8th. mind games
9. atonement
10. Continue with normal damage rotation
pain suppression Reduces the target’s damage taken by 40 percent for 8 seconds. The ideal tank cooldown or for teammates who become targets of heavy attacks. The group protects you best Power Word: Barrier. You heal yourself in an emergency Desperate Prayer.
shadow spirit Summons a pet for 15 seconds that restores 0.5 percent mana with each attack. The pet’s damage counts toward the Atonement heal, so it’s also a healing cooldown.
mind games is a powerful single target attack with a 45 second cooldown that generates a lot of Atonement healing and briefly dampens the target’s damage. Works similarly Wrath of Light, which gets stronger the more players are afflicted with Atonement. Both spells play out their strength especially after your “ramp” when you prevent your group from taking damage and apologise.
1. Intelligence
2. Pace
3. Critical Hit Rating
4th Championship
5. Versatility
Speed is the absolute best after Intelligence because it lowers the cooldown of Power Word: Shield and casts spells faster. For example, you’ll make better use of Atonement’s duration if you can cast more spells during the duration of the buff thanks to more speed. Critical hits from your damaging spells also mean more healing via the Atonement mechanic, so crit isn’t bad. Mastery increases your Atonement healing on targets, but because Mastery doesn’t add damage, it’s off your priority list.
