Well, have you only been playing Zelda BotW or Animal Crossing again all year? If you want to know exactly now, you can display your own game statistics for 2022. It gives you a neat breakdown of which games and genres you spent the most time on the switch.

That’s what it’s about: It has become a nice tradition that Nintendo, PlayStation or other services like Spotify present us with an overview of our activities towards the end of the year. This can be surprising, frightening or satisfying, but in most cases it is great fun.

Did I really play that much? If you play hundreds or even thousands of hours a year, you should be particularly interested in which titles are responsible for this. Nintendo now also shows you the following categories for your gaming behavior on the switch in 2022:
- Most Played
- Played for more than three years
- Played again after a long break
- Favorite software sorted by month/longest played

Of course, the whole thing is not really representative if you also play on other platforms and the general times are not taken into account. It would therefore be interesting to have a complete overview that really bundles everything together, but until then, for better or for worse, we’ll have to find it ourselves.
