Dead Space Remake: Development reaches Gold status

Those who just fought their way through The Callisto Protocol can already prepare for the next sci-fi horror: The Dead Space Remake is ready.

As the developers at Motive Studios announced via Twitter, the development work was completed shortly before the holidays. So nothing stands in the way of the release of the new edition.

Dead Space Remake: Reached Gold status

“The entire Motive team is excited to announce that Dead Space has reached Gold status! Thank you to all the fans who have supported us so far,” the tweet read. The remake can now be pressed onto the data carriers and loaded onto the online servers, so that on January 27, 2023 on the PC, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S can be started.

Of course, the gold status does not mean that the developers are now sitting back. Even if the main work is now finished, the development of a first patch should start soon.

However, additional content that will appear after the release is not currently planned. The remake should be a complete package, at least for the time being, with all the graphical and playful improvements that have already been presented in part in a detailed gameplay trailer.
