Fortnite brings Deku, Bakugo and All Might from My Hero Academia into play

Starting today, you can become a true hero in Fortnite. No, not by heroically winning the rounds. At least not this time, as Fortnite brings four heroes from the popular manga and anime My Hero Academia into play.

Unleash your inner hero

Epic Games is adding not only All Might, Deku, Bakugo, and Uraraka skins for this heroic extravaganza, but also special My Hero Academia contracts, which are time-limited and will disappear again on December 30, 2022. Why should you do them? Well, if saving the world isn’t enough of an incentive, Epic Games also gives you XP and special items for completing it.

For example, by completing certain missions, you can get the “Deku” and “Plus-Ultra” spray themes, as well as the “Deku’s Glove” emoticon. For all eight missions, you’ll receive the UA Cloak back bling, which you can wear to make you feel like a real superhero.

You will also find the item “Dekus Smash” scattered around the island, which gives you the “One for All” power and deals damage to buildings and enemies. If you are in trouble yourself, a broadly grinning All Might will help you, who will deliver supplies from the air.

In the “Hero Training Gym” you compete in teams of three and really hit it with Deku’s Smash. You can choose one of three classes. In order to win, you must collect rescue points by conquering special zones.

You can buy these packages:

  • Izuku Midoriya “Deku” – Outfit, Back Bling “All Might Action Figure”, Pickaxe “Black Whip Pickaxe”
  • All Might – Outfit, Rector Nezu Back Bling, Almighty Hammer Pickaxe
  • Katsuki Bakugo – Outfit, “Hero Style” style, “Grenade Backpack” Back Bling, “Grenade Hammer” Pickaxe
  • Ochako Uraraka – Outfit, Uravity Boost Back Bling, Uravity Hammer Pickaxe

That being said, there are a number of poses and emotes that are borrowed from the franchise.
