Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale: Pirate Adventures launches in January

In January 2023, the raids in the pirate adventure strategy game through the Caribbean will start.

All hands on deck! It’s time to man the guns as the plundering of the Caribbean waters begins on January 19, 2023 in Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale from publisher Kalypso Media and developer Gaming Minds Studios.

The world is big out there, and before players set sail, they can customize each ship in Tortuga – A Pirate’s Tale. The new trailer shows what adjustments can be made to the ships to make the other seafarers green with envy.

There are 18 unique ship types to choose from, each with their own customization including flag, armament, hull, mast and figurehead. Whether it’s improved guns, a more robust hull or a more comfortable cabin – there are many ways to keep the crew happy and guarantee success at sea.

Set sail, lift anchor! In Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale, players can set sail on their mighty ship for gold and glory. When you come face to face with historic pirate captains, you need to carefully consider who is friend or foe.

Players use their tactical skills to successfully raid trade convoys and settlements in turn-based battles. When the sea is calm and the ship is well armored, it is only a matter of time before your own crew will go ashore with jingling bags and a happy mood.

With enough gold and an invincible armada in command, perhaps even the rumors of mutiny could die down.

Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale will fire its cannons on January 19, 2023 when the pirate strategy game will be available digitally for Windows PC exclusively on the Epic Games Store, as well as for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
