ARK: Survival Evolved: Winter Wonderland event full of treats is back

The Winter Wonderland event full of treats is back in ARK with new content and rewards.

It’s the right time of year to get some ARK treats for the holidays! The Winter Wonderland in-game event returns through January 5th. During this time, ARK Survivors can snag increased prizes and loot-filled gifts, and collect 12 new Chibis from this epic winter extravaganza.

The ARK Winter Wonderland Event is the first-ever in-game event for Nintendo Switch players since last month’s ARK: Survival Evolved reboot, bringing the content on par with PC and console ARK players.

A solid roadmap of ARK content updates is planned for 2023, including bringing it on par with all traditional in-game events, as well as the release of the ARK: Aberration Expansion Pack on December 26th, introducing a sophisticated underground biome system with exotic new challenges for Switch -player entails.

October’s reboot for ARK Switch players revealed an expanded story content update that’s now available for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players.

The story update includes a new set of intro and ending cinematics for each ARK map, as well as the community-requested Scorched Earth Ascension cinematic.

Finally, the patch revisits older content and gives you a new experience by adding new voiceovers from David Tennant (as Sir Edmund Rockwell) and Madeleine Madden (as Helena Walker & H-LNA) on the game’s dino dossiers, researcher notes, and adds to Aberration’s epic showdown with element-addicted Rockwell.
