Assassin’s Creed Jade: First gameplay of the mobile offshoot leaked
Jade is the first mobile offshoot of the Assassin’s Creed series for iOS and Android.
In September 2022, Ubisoft announced the first offshoot of the Assassin’s Creed series for mobile devices. However, official information about the game has been scarce so far and there has not been more than a CGI trailer to see. A few hours ago, however, a video was leaked via Facebook that shows almost three minutes of gameplay from the game.

Initial gameplay for Codename Jade looks familiar
This can be seen: At the beginning we see a third-person assassin running over a section of the Great Wall of China, climbing and balancing on ropes in the usual AC manner. Sword fights can also be seen. In the second section of the video, a longer cutscene is shown and the path through a burning village.

We can tell that the leaked material is codename Jade from the setting, which, as already confirmed by Ubisoft, plays in China, and from the HUD, which has been clearly optimized for mobile.
An important clue: At this point we would like to emphasize that the gameplay is leaked material that shows an unfinished version of the game and that may differ greatly from the final product.

As we know from a first developer statement, Jade should “iconic Assassin’s Creed gameplay” that has been optimized for touch controls. What’s new in Codename Jade is that for the first time we can create our own character with which we can explore the game world.
