Hideo Kojima confirms another additional project to Death Stranding 2

Hideo Kojima hopes to provide more information on another brand new game that he will create next year, in addition to Death Stranding 2.

On Friday, the head of Kojima Productions provided a brief update on what the studio is working on in a video message posted to coincide with its seventh anniversary.

The company announced Death Stranding 2 at The Game Awards last week, revealing on Thursday that a Death Stranding movie is also in the works.

“In addition to Death Stranding 2, we are also preparing a completely new game, as well as some visual projects,” Kojima said in his video message, which can be seen below.

“I hope to give you more information on all of those next year.”

He also briefly showed off the new Kojima Productions office. “Now more than ever, we will expand our scope of creativity in this new environment”, Kojima said.

The game Kojima is referring to is presumably the cloud-based project he’s doing with Xbox, which was announced back in June.

“There is a game that I have always wanted to do”he said at the time. “It’s a brand new game, one that no one has ever experienced or seen before. I waited a long time for the day when I could finally start creating it.
