Hideo Kojima has become popular over the past two decades with numerous cinematic video games. The length of some cutscenes or one or the other wacky sequence always provided a lot of topics for conversation. But now a Kojima game will not only provide material for discussion with cinematics, but will soon also be represented on the big screen. Finally, it was officially announced that Death Stranding to be filmed. Hideo Kojima is cooperating with the producer Alex Lebovici and the Hammestone Studios.

Who is producing the Death Stranding film?

In recent years, Lebovici has produced films such as “Barbarian”, “Padre Pio” and “Bill and Ted Save the Universe”. Hammerstone is financing the project, while Kojima and Lebovici are producing the film together. Also on board is Kojima Productions US and Allan Ungar as Executive Producers. It is also not known who will sit in the director’s chair for the adaptation.
