The Witcher 3 HD Reworked: The Mod Story Continues
Although the next-gen update for The Witcher 3 has now been released, the developer of the HD Reworked Mod wants to continue to update his project. A first look at upcoming innovations will follow shortly.
The big next-gen update for The Witcher 3 is finally here and overhauls the popular role-playing game from CD Projekt Red, above all graphically, but also in terms of content. The developers have also included several mods in the update, including The Witcher 3 HD Reworked and HD Monsters Reworked. According to its maker, HD Reworked will continue to receive updates that go beyond the improvements currently included in the next-gen version.
New version of HDRP is coming in 2023
The modder active at NexusMods under the name HalkHogan explained this in an official forum post:
“Yes, the history of HDRP is not over yet. I can tell you that the forthcoming version of HDRP, called NextGen Edition, is going to be really huge, the list of changes and new improvements is really long, and the quality of the assets is definitely at a much higher level than you are experienced with the previous available version (12.0 Ultimate). I very much look forward to sharing this work with you soon. The target version for the new HDRP is the NextGen game update (4.0), but it also works with version 1.31/1.32. That’s all for now, but you can expect a first look soon.”
Fans of The Witcher 3so all those who have followed and appreciate HalkHogan’s work can look forward to another revised version of the mod in the coming year. In particular, the players who are dissatisfied with the implementation of the mod by CD Projekt Red in the next-gen update should come in handy.
