Buy the RTX 4070 Ti: Probably available from these retailers from the beginning of January 2023

An official announcement from RTX 4070 Ti by manufacturer Nvidia is currently pending. That the cheapest graphics card to date based on the Ada Lovelace architecture but announced in January 2023 and released shortly thereafter still seems fairly certain.

It is also quite likely that the RTX 4070 Ti is the new edition of the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB, which should have been released in November 2022 together with the RTX 4080 16 GB. However, Nvidia decided shortly before the launch against the variant with 12 GB of video memory. This will now appear as the RTX 4070 Ti, as many suspected.

When will the RTX 4070 Ti be released?

Shortly after the official release of the RTX 4090, Nvidia surprisingly withdrew the RTX 4080 12 GB. We have given you the reasons for this step summarized in this post. In the same breath, the manufacturer also announced when the RTX 4080 16 GB will be released.

Now the release of the RTX 4070 Ti seems to be imminent. Nvidia could first introduce the upcoming GPU on January 3, 2023. According to various leaks, the Nvidia graphics card will finally appear on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

What time will the RTX 4070 Ti be released? Based on our experience of the last releases, we’re guessing that the first traders to use the card will be put up for sale around 3 p.m.

How much will the RTX 4070 Ti cost?

The recommended retail price for the RTX 4080 12 GB was 1,099 euros. Should Nvidia adopt this RRP for the RTX 4070 Ti, the manufacturer’s new graphics card would be 50 euros more expensive than the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT that was released recently.

Since the card will be slightly faster according to leaks, the small price difference should also be justified.
