PlayStation Plus: These bangers will be available later this year for Extra and Premium
On December 20th, 2022, the last batch of new releases of the year will land in the PlayStation Plus areas of Extra and Premium. Also included: Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn, Mortal Shell, Judgment, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and more!
As 2022 draws to a close, it’s time for the final PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions of the year! In fact, those responsible for Sony have once again put together a remarkable game package for the upcoming holidays. Most games will end up in the respective game libraries from December 20, 2022. The only exception: WWE 2K22 will not be available to Premium and Extra subscribers until January 3rd, 2023.
New games from December 20, 2022
Let’s take a look at the games that will be added to the PlayStation Plus subscription for Extra and Premium customers from December 20th, 2022:
- Far Cry 5: Welcome to Hope County, Montana, land of the free and brave, but also home to the fanatical doomsday cult “Eden’s Gate” Take on cult leader Joseph Seed and his siblings, the Heralds, to fuel the resistance and liberate the oppressed community. - Mortal Shell (PS4, PS5): Mortal Shell is a merciless and complex Soulslike Action RPG that will test your wits and stamina in a ruined world. As the remnants of humanity wither and rot, dangerous enemies roam the ruins. They show no mercy and if you want to survive you must rely on your perception, precision and instincts.
- Judgment (PS4, PS5): Take on the role of Takayuki Yagami, a disgraced lawyer-turned-private investigator, navigating the Kamurocho underground criminal network to solve a series of gruesome murders. Pursue suspects, track down leads and present evidence in court. Use the two unique fighting styles to your advantage to eliminate opponents in exciting battles.
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon: In this role-playing game you rise from underdog to dragon. Ichiban Kasuga, a lowly member of a lowly Tokyo yakuza family, returns to society after 18 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Find out what’s really behind his family’s betrayal. Explore and fight your way through a modern Japanese city. Gather a group of social misfits and spend time with them to unlock new abilities and combo abilities. Take a break from your main quest to delve deeper into the game world with go-karting, arcade games or the 50 side stories.

- The Pedestrian (PS4, PS5): Enjoy a no-text journey in this delightful and unique puzzle game, where all ideas are represented in the form of symbols and your powers of observation will be put to the test.
- Evil Genius 2 (PS4, PS5): Take control of an evil genius and carry out your plans for world domination in this satirical spy hide-and-seek game.
- Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion: The Land of Ooo is under water and it’s up to Finn and Jake to find out what happened. Join the heroes on the high seas, search for hidden clues and question shady suspects. Upgrade your hero and use items, spells, potions and unique ultimate hero abilities in fast-paced tactical battles against the villains and solve the mystery to save this waterlogged world!
- Ben 10: Power Trip (PS4, PS5): Equip the Omnitrix and transform into Ben 10’s incredible aliens as you adventure and fight your way through an action-packed 3D world to thwart the master mage’s hex-tremely diabolical plans.
- Giantosaurus (PS4): Explore and race through the prehistoric world of Gigantosaurus. This Disney dinosaur story is not only about saving the world, you can also look forward to super fun races.
- Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition (PS4): The Ultimate Edition of this award-winning single-player RPG from the masters of Obsidian Entertainment features a massive open world, a variety of characters and a story where you have complete freedom of choice, along with all major updates and expansions.
- Worms WMD (PS4): With the beautiful hand-drawn 2D look, all-new weapons, the introduction of vehicles, buildings and crafting, and the return of some popular classic weapons and gameplay features, Worms WMD offers the best Worms experience ever.

Classic novelties for PS Plus Premium
In addition, the following Classic titles will end up in the Premium Library:
- Ridge Racer 2 (PSP): Enjoy awesome arcade racing with an amazing soundtrack in this improved version of the PSP classic. The game is packed with racetracks to beat your competitors (and your best times) on and plenty of cars to unlock. This emulated version of the PSP classic has been enhanced with high rendering, a rewind function, a quick save function and custom video filters.
- Heavenly Sword (PS3): This third-person action-adventure from Ninja Theory tells a dramatic story in which Nariko embarks on a vendetta against an invading king and his army. But time is running against her, because the ancient divine sword that she wields in order to be able to fulfill her mission not only grants her numerous attack possibilities, but also slowly drains her life force.
