After Square Enix recently released a new trailer as part of the Game Awards – including release date – to Final Fantasy 16 shared with fans, all RPG fans can now look forward to the next reveal from the upcoming title. For the first time there is moogles to see that will naturally appear in the game. The studio gave a glimpse of the fluffy little planes via Twitter. And especially fans of Final Fantasy 14 are full of joy.
Players of the MMORPG are therefore over the moon, because the appearance of the moogle is quite similar to the fluffy ball from the online role-playing game. The reason for this is probably explained relatively quickly. Naoki Yoshida not only acts as Producer on Final Fantasy 16 (buy now ) with, but is also the director and producer of Final Fantasy 14. But also the mix from Middle Ages and Fantasy is a parallel that can be seen between Part 14 and Part 16.
Where do moogs appear?
In the year 1990 celebrated moogles in Final Fantasy 3 her debut. After that, the beings, among other things, for their bobble antenna are known, appeared in almost all upcoming parts (and spin-offs) of the series – but always in different roles. In part 3, for example, they were there as bodyguards. In Part 9, moogles were scattered around the world as save points. And we will find out which task they fulfill in part 16 at the latest June 22, 2023.
Classics Collection is coming to consoles
Just this week, Square Enix confirmed that the Pixel Remaster Collection from Final Fantasy im Spring 2023 will also be released for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The collection contains the classics of the role-playing series that started 35 years ago. From part 1 to part 6, all titles are included – with slightly improved optics. The games will also be available individually soon. By the way, you will encounter moogles in Final Fantasy 3, 5 and 6.
