Nintendo Switch: System Update 15.0.1 update is here, what does it bring you?
Nintendo released the new system update to version 15.0.1 for the Nintendo Switch back in November.
Now said version itself has received an update, which does not require a console restart.
What has changed?
Such an update without a reboot does not require any other interaction for you, it is more about changes in the background.
In this case, this affects the filter for forbidden words, for which there was another update.
“The only changes are to the lists of swear words,” explains dataminer OatmealDome.
“Various terms have been added. It also appears that the lists have been rearranged somewhat to prevent inadvertently banning safe text in some languages.”
[Nintendo Switch Firmware Update]
A rebootless update for 15.0.1 was released.
The sole changes are to the bad words lists. Various terms were added. It also appears the lists were shuffled a bit to prevent inoffensive text from being accidentally blocked in some languages.
