Twitter: The platform for freedom of speech
One thing has to be handed to Musk, he knows how to keep the conversation going. Even if you don’t say anything at all. Elon is silent on Twitter about the results of his poll after the majority of users on the micro-blogging network voted for him to step down from his post as company director.
On December 19, 2022, he launched one of his famous polls on the platform, asking: “Should I resign as head of Twitter? I will act on the results of this poll.” In the early results of the survey, it was clear early on that most users for “YES” would be right. The billionaire responded to this with more ominous ones tweets how: “As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, because you might get it.” and “Those who want power are those who least deserve it”

the Results are now known and state that almost 57.5 percent of about 17.5 million votes voted to resign. Still, with Musk you never know if that’s a result he expected or if he completely misjudged his popularity here.
Since the vote the Twitter boss is sometimes still silent on the subject and has not yet announced whether he is really keeping his promise. He previously only tweeted World Cup stats on Twitter and retweeted some Tesla posts and the announcement of the new Twitter Blue for Business, a new verification program for businesses on the platform.
