Xbox Game Pass: 9 games are flying out this year, including a real RPG highlight
This game will soon no longer be available in Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft’s game subscription service Game Pass is filled with numerous new titles every month, and all first-party games appear directly in the service, which is available in a “normal” and an ultimate version.
However, there are not only regular accesses to Game Pass, because games also leave the service time and again. So also in December 2022 and until the end of the year, a total of 9 titles from the Game Pass will fly. This means that anyone with a subscription will no longer be able to download and play these titles without additional costs.
When are the games supposed to be released? December 31st, so you still have a few days left.
Which games are leaving Game Pass at the end of December?
A good cross-section of various genres, some of which are particularly worthwhile. These include the adventure Outer Wilds, in which you, as an astronaut, explore the secrets of the solar system in a time warp and unite with it Test with the colleagues of GameStar can read through.
The Pedestrian is also a recommendation for Knobel fans, because here you puzzle your way through riddles on – watch out – street signs as stick figures. If you want to learn more about the game, the best thing to do is read our review of The Pedestrian or watch the trailer:

Scarlet Nexus is an RPG highlight that you may have overlooked
Especially those who are interested in JRPGs will also find a title in Game Pass by the end of the year that may have been overlooked so far because it didn’t get nearly as much buzz compared to other titles. We’re talking about Scarlet Nexus, which appeared in mid-2021 and has been available in Game Pass since September last year.
This is what Scarlet Nexus is about: You slip into the skin of a recruit of the organization “Other Supression Force”, which trains fighters with psychokinesis to protect the population from attacking mutants.

Scarlet Nexus: Launch trailer sets the mood for the action role-playing game
Why you should play it: Because the combat system in particular feels surprisingly fresh compared to other titles in this area. Basically, Scarlet Nexus relies on real-time hack & slash battles, but you can also borrow special abilities from your party members. This creates, among other things, curious and powerful combinations of classic weapons and elemental attacks, with which experimenting is a great attraction of the game.
In addition, the game is a real eye-catcher with its pretty cel-shading visuals and unconventional enemy design 25 hours of playtime for the main story should also be manageable by the end of the year.
