Geforce Beyond with RTX 4070 Ti? Nvidia broadcasts live stream for CES on January 3rd

RTX 4090 & Co.: There should be no more falling prices, according to Nvidia

from Oliver Jaeger
Nvidia has now announced its Geforce Beyond event for January 3, 2023 as part of the Consumer Electronics Show, CES. The focus will again be on “the latest breakthroughs in gaming, creating and graphics technology”. The unveiling of the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti and the mobile GPUs of the Ada Lovelace generation is very likely.

Anyone who didn’t know beforehand will now be informed in black and white by Nvidia itself: At the beginning of January it’s CES time again and the chip manufacturer is on board with Geforce Beyond. Nvidia now confirmed this in a short and concise press release, which of course does not reveal anything about which innovations will be in the foreground at the Geforce Beyond event.

Geforce Beyond in the early evening – what does Nvidia have in store?

The Nvidia show will be held on January 3 and will also be broadcast live, starting at 5 p.m. in Germany. If you want to watch the stream live, you can do so on the official youtube – or Twitch Channel by Nvidia. Even if the chip manufacturer still wraps the cloak of silence around the forthcoming presentations – one only speaks of the well-known “latest breakthroughs in gaming, creating and graphics technology” – some rumors give clues as to what Geforce RTX enthusiasts are prepared for are allowed to do.

The rumor mill is now certain that the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti will be Nvidia’s next GPU unveiling in the desktop segment, which will then be launched directly on January 5th. The Geforce RTX 4070 Ti is basically the Geforce RTX 4080 with 12 GiByte VRAM, which Nvidia actually wanted to market under this name, but then revised its plans. The specifications of the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti have emerged according to some leaked database entries as those previously attributed to the 12 GiB model of the RTX 4080. Nvidia may bring other new desktop graphics cards into play, but this is nothing more than reading tea leaves.

In addition, it is to be expected that Nvidia will herald the introduction of the Ada Lovelace architecture for mobile applications as well. The graphics solutions for laptops, for example, are the Geforce RTX 4090, 4080 Ti, 4070, 4060 and 4060 Ti. The individual GPUs are to be marketed with the designation GN21-X and a corresponding number, with the AD103 and AD104 GPUs should have a power consumption of 175 watts.
