Goat Simulator 3: Ads contain footage from GTA6 leak and will be blocked

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

An advertisement for Goat Simulator 3 contained footage from the Grand Theft Auto 6 leak and was promptly blocked.

An advertisement for Goat Simulator 3 has now been removed for copyright infringement. Apparently, the creators used content from the big leak of Grand Theft Auto VI that happened in September for their advertising.

Parent company Take-Two Interactive probably didn’t think it was funny, and the advertising on Twitter was subject to a DMCA strike.

The advertisement apparently lasted for several hours and was about Shaun, an NPC. He reported on his duties as such, also showing footage from the GTA6 leak.

Here is a clip about it:

The developers of Goat Simulator 3 reacted to the copyright infringement with the Simpsons meme *Chuckles* I’m in danger.

It is not known whether the incident will have further consequences.
