Like a Dragon: Ishin! showcases the brutal Wild Dancer fighting style

Like a Dragon: Ishin!, will be the developer’s next remake Ryu ga Gotoku Studio from the Yakuza spin-off series, Ishin! 2014. The studio has been receiving a series of trailers focusing on the different fighting styles. The latest trailer focuses on the Wild Dancer style, combining katana attacks and revolver shots to kill with style.

One of the attacks consists of a combo that executes saber blows with the katana, ending with a circular barrage of bullets. Another has the protagonist Sakamoto Ryoma throwing his sword at an enemy, stabbing them with it, and then jumping from the hilt to spray shots from the air. If that wasn’t enough, there’s a Heat move where Ryoma kicks an opponent in the face, throws his weapon into the air, executes some quick slashes, and then catches it for a black point execution.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! It will be out on February 21, 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. You can see all the combat styles in general at this link.
