A patch for consoles fixes various bugs in Metroidvania The Knight Witch.

A patch for consoles has been released for the Metroidvania The Knight Witch with shoot ’em up combat.

The following bugs have been fixed, as Team17 announces:

  • Fixed an issue where the Mirror Lake boss would sometimes not trigger if the player had already died from it in a previous attempt.
  • Fixed enemy boomerang attack issue on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X.
  • Efforts have been made to fix the bug where some achievements are not displaying correctly on PlayStation and Xbox. Work on this is ongoing, so please let us know if you experience this issue.

In The Knight Witch, fast-paced shoot ’em up combat combines with exploration of the Metroidvania world and magical deck building. The underground city of Dungeonidas is under siege by an unknown threat and its merciless army of war golems. You play as Rayne, a Knight Witch fighting to save those she loves. She continues to try to find out who is behind the threat.
