WoW: Blizzard packs exclusive annual pass mount from 2011 in the shop
Visited the World of Warcraft in-game shop today? An exclusive mount awaits you there, for which you originally had to complete the very first annual pass from WoW.
With the World of Warcraft’s first annual pass the Blizzard managers had put down a real highlight at the time. After Vanilla, Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, many long-time WoW fans could not imagine canceling their subscription in the foreseeable future. For the twelve months that you would complete anyway, also get the cool Mount Tyraels Charger, beta access for the next WoW expansion and Diablo 3 for free? Blizzard, you fools!
What players didn’t realize at the time was that the content replenishment for the Cataclysm expansion was…in need of improvement, and not all of the new content was well received by the community. In retrospect, those responsible for Blizzard also benefited from the annual pass, as they were able to improve their statistics thanks to the long-term subscriptions.

If you missed out on the Annual Pass and the exclusive mount back then, we might have some exciting news for you. Tyrael’s charger has recently surprisingly appeared in the WoW in-game shop (buy now ) landed:
There it says: “One might ask why the denizens of the High Heavens with their wings of light would need a flying mount, but the answer is quite simple: ARMORED ANGEL HORSES LOOK AWESOME. Now you can ride Tyrael’s Charger like a bolt of justice from the sky.” Cost: 25 euros.
But you should probably refrain from buying it. It could be that at some point the Blizzard developers will also make the mount available via the new trading post that is scheduled to go live with patch 10.0.5. Among other things, the PTR is currently showing this skysteed offered. As the trading post’s offerings will rotate regularly, other shop mounts should also be available for purchase there.
