The latest entry in Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it seems that it will have online functions. as it was shared by a reddit user in an image from the store’s promotional material for the sequel to Breath of the Wild. There it is revealed that the game will feature online functionality of a certain nature.

It is not known what you mean by online functionality. It can refer to basic features like cloud saves or leaderboards. Another function would be interactions between players like the Soulslike games. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed anything about it yet.
