Dead Space Remake on PS5 suffers from shading issues and Motive Studio promises to fix them

The remake of dead space It’s finally released, and from the start, it’s made it abundantly clear that the long wait for the return of the beloved sci-fi horror franchise has been well worth it. The developer remake Motive Studio has breathed new life into the series, but of course no game launches without issues to work out, and the studio has confirmed that it’s currently working on a few that players have encountered in dead space.

More specifically, in a recent thread on Reddit, the developer confirmed that it is aware of the issues some players have been having such as Variable Rate Shader on PS5 in particular, and that a fix for the same is in the works. While there’s no word yet on exactly when that will happen, Motive Studio says that the patch that addresses the issue will also add an option for players to turn off variable-rate shading on the PC version of the game.
