Diablo 2 Resurrected: Season 2 end and Season 3 start scheduled for February 16, 2023
Diablo 2 Resurrected fans will be treated to eight new Runewords with the launch of Season 3, which players can currently try out on the Public Test Server. The feedback from the testers will ensure that the rune words will be adjusted, some significantly. Nevertheless, it is already planned that season 2 will end on February 16, 2023 – and start on the same day.
The third season for the re-imagining of the action role-playing classic Diablo 2, Resurrected brings with it some significant news as the developers of the game have decided to support the community with eight new rune words. Okay, some players are convinced that they are not needed at all, but they are on the way and interested gamers could try them out on the public test server.
Good that they could be taken on a test drive through the hellish worlds beforehand, because the players had some feedback. This feedback, according to community managers Adam “PezRadar” Fletcher on the official Diablo 2 Resurrected Forums, has caused some of the runewords to undergo quite a bit of tweaking from how they were originally intended to work. “We expect to release the final patch notes sometime next week,” PezRadar said.
Season 2 ends, Season 3 arrives – same day
There have been rumors about the end of Resurrected’s ladder reset before, the Fanbase went from a date in mid-February 2023 the end. And that’s apparently what will happen if something doesn’t go terribly wrong. In addition to Diablo developers wanting to share the updated patch notes with you in the coming week, PezRadar also writes: “Likewise, we expect this patch to flow into the season fairly quickly, so we wanted to warn you all that we plan to start season 3 on February 16, 2023 and finish season 2 on the same day.” So you still have about two weeks to complete your chosen goals before starting all over again.
