We Were Here Forever: Adventure is available now for Xbox

The adventure We Were Here Forever is now also available for Xbox consoles.

Starting today, the co-op puzzle adventure We Were Here Forever is available for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for €17.99.

With the console release comes cross-play, making this the first game in the series to allow explorers to connect on their favorite platforms.

With its release, fans of the series can now immerse themselves in the next standalone game in the puzzle-adventure series on consoles. In addition, the new part also brings a new feature to the series. Because players can explore it together and unravel the mystery of Castle Rocks regardless of their platform as it brings the cross-platform feature with its release.

Connecting with other players and making friendships that will last a lifetime has never been easier.

With over 12 hours of playtime, We Were Here Forever offers an exciting continuation of the story and is the longest game in the series to date. Players new to the series need not worry; this game can of course also be enjoyed as a standalone experience.

The lost explorers from the previous games find themselves once again isolated in the dungeons of Castle Rock, armed with nothing but the trusty walkie-talkies that are the only link between them and their partners.

Together they must make their way through – and out of – the depths of this evil, magical realm. Due to the new, freer design of the puzzles and the environment, this adventure will unfold differently for each pair of explorers.

In We Were Here Forever, players will learn more about the mysterious history of Rockbury – the town that, along with its haunted castle, has set the stage for the entire series so far.

Long ago, this city and its people tried to rebel against a corrupt king in order to free themselves from this magical realm that seems to exist outside of time and space. And as more players learn about the past, they may wonder: Can Castle Rock ever…really…escape?
