Final Fantasy 14: Omega Protocol – Neverland Official Winner
After a lot of controversy about the new ultimate fight against Omega in Final Fantasy 14 and its first kill, the raid group Neverland has now officially won the race. This achievement has cost her a lot of time and effort.
The raid group never land made it! It took more than a week and more than 1,000 attempts for Final Fantasy 14 players to complete all six phases of the ultimate fight against Omega (fatal). In total, this took around 83 hours of gameplay, which is roughly 12 hours a day.
never land is not an unknown group when it comes to such achievements. The people in the group were able to win the race for the Dragon War (fatal) last year. The raid group can undoubtedly be proud of the achievement of claiming this win twice in a row.
Omega Protocol – a race full of controversy
The Omega Protocol (Omega fatal) came into play on January 24, 2023. These ultimate battles are some of the toughest challenges Final Fantasy 14 has to offer (buy now €21.99 ) has to offer. As with all fights of this type, a dogged race for the World First Kill has developed, which was also broadcast live on Twitch. Despite the fair and good performances of most groups, the Omega Protocol race was ill-fated.
Among other things, there was one bow, which prevented buffs for some of the job classes at some points in the fight. The reason for this is the buff limit in Final Fantasy 14, which players usually never see. However, in this fight, some raid groups managed to max this out, preventing other important buffs.
Far more serious, however, is the action of a raid group that has already claimed victory for itself. As the fans quickly found out, the group had used various auxiliary programs, which in particular enable further zooming out or also display the opponent’s hitboxes. Now this group has been stripped of its victory.
In the meantime, producer and director Naoki Yoshida has also published a detailed position name commented on the incidents. In it he denies the allegation that he would have allowed the use of such software and announces an extensive investigation into the incident. As with previous offenses of this type, players will face account penalties. Square Enix has not made public what these are in detail.
