Once a year, the Bungie developers start a community vote for the loot shooter Destiny 2. Subject of the debate: The ornaments that can be obtained around Halloween for the individual classes. But this time the guardians do not vote on the overall looks, but individually for each class. We explain to you what is different now.

Once a year, the developers of the MMO shooter Destiny 2 let the players vote on which armor looks aka ornaments they can get their hands on for the annual Festival of the Lost around Halloween time. However, in recent years, when there have been votes such as Dino vs. Mechs, it has emerged that the guardians of some classes want a different look for their main than the majority of the players. To circumvent this disparity, there will be a few changes to the voting process in 2023.

The new voting process for the Festival of the Lost

The first innovation: You no longer vote for one look for all classes, but for your main class, i.e. Titan, Hunter or Warlock. That’s why there are two looks for voting that are inspired by the main theme of creepy crawlies, namely a spider look and a beetle look.

The second major adjustment: voting is now only possible via e-mail invitation. If you’ve opted in to receiving emails in your Bungie Account, you’ll receive an email allowing you to vote for your main class’s look. And if you gamble several classes? Or didn’t receive an email? Then you are not excluded! “If you belong to either of these two groups, then we have a solution. We will set up a separate link for you to cast your votes for your second class (or your main class if you haven’t received the email) . These votes are then mixed with the others in the same pool”, so it says in the TWAB of January 26, 2023.
