Denon has introduced its new AV receiver flagship AVC-A1H. The Japanese hi-fi manufacturer Denon has presented its new flagship AV receiver with the AVC-A1H. The AV amplifier should offer optimal conditions for your own home cinema and weighs 32 kilograms alone. It offers 15 amplifier channels, each with 210 watts of power and, in addition to 8K passthrough, also upscaling for content in HD, 4K or 8K. When fully expanded, speaker systems up to 9.4.6 can be controlled on the AV amplifier, so that even demanding customers should have enough options.

The amplifier is equipped with a dual-core DSP that clocks at one gigahertz and, in addition to all 3D audio formats, supports the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction software ex works. Dirac Live support can also be added with an optional upgrade. The device should be characterized by high-quality components that should deliver a decent sound on all 19 channels. The device is built in Denon’s main factory in Japan according to current standards and also offers the latest technology.

The amplifier’s transformer weighs 11.5 kilograms and offers double filter electrolytic capacitors with 33,000 µF each for its high output. The current HDMI standards are on board, as are XLR and chinch connections for subwoofers and integration options for building automation systems.

Solid gold-plated speaker connections are available on the housing and the device stands on cast-iron feet. This is to minimize vibration and noise. All this combined is expensive, so Denon has set the RRP at 6,999 euros. The AV receiver has been officially available for a few days and can be purchased from specialist retailers.
