Resident Evil 4 Remake shows more than 12 minutes of gameplay

The next remake of resident evil 4 is starring in Game Informer’s cover story of the month, which means the past few days have brought several new details about the game. Now, the magazine has uploaded an extended gameplay walkthrough showing over 12 minutes of gameplay from the upcoming survival horror remake.

The tutorial shows various parts of the game’s fifth chapter, which sees Leon and Ashley leaving the church and going through the cemetery before returning to town and meeting Luis Sera for the first time. That, of course, is followed by an intense firefight in a cabin, which fans of the original game will remember all too well. In the remake, the fight will also see players fighting a Brute, a new type of enemy that is introduced in the remake.

In addition to a healthy dose of combat, the footage also shows snippets of how Ashley has improved in the game, Leon collecting treasure pieces in environments, some side quest snippets, and more. Of course, the Trader makes an appearance as well, and unsurprisingly, he brings with him plenty of purchase options, from weapons to upgrades. Check out the tutorial below for more details.

resident evil 4 launches on March 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC. You can watch the trailer below.
