Sons of the Forest: Release on February 23, initially as Early Access – News

After the release date of the survival action game Sons of the Forest already been postponed three times, it should be published on 2/23/23. According to the latest information from Endnight Games, however, important game components such as other items, game mechanics and balancing have not yet been sufficiently tested and implemented. In order to avoid another postponement, the manufacturer has decided to release the game in Early Access first.

Even with the predecessor The Forest (for the test, grade 7.5), the community made a major contribution through suggestions, feedback and bug reports to make the game the success it finally became. Based on this positive experience, the developer hopes that players will also actively participate in the completion of the game in Sons of the Forest. According to Endnight Games, players can look forward to a larger and, above all, more complex gaming experience, which, for example, introduces innovations such as an NPC companion with its own personality.
