WoW Patch 10.0.7: Baine’s Revenge? Dataminer find tauren boss quest

WoW: Hotfixes from August 24th, 2022 - Bug fixes for Mythic+ and Fated Raids (1)

With WoW Patch 10.0.7, which you can probably expect on the live servers of the MMO in spring, there’s some new content. So you have the chance when Non-Dracthyr first set foot on the Forbidden Island to set, because there’s brand new endgame content. Humans and orcs are allowed to discuss the Introduction of heritage armor look forward to your own quest lines. Worgen (and other races) may play Monks. And Restoration Druids, Retribution Paladins, Unholy Death Knights, and Shamans are part of the class balance roulette, among other things.

But apparently there are also one or two new adventures to be experienced apart from that. The Dataminer from WoWHead have found evidence of a flying visit by Tauren boss Baine Bloodhoof to the Dragon Islands – but whether it is in WoW (buy now ) Patch 10.0.7 or in a subsequent update is not yet clear. Below we explain what this could mean in general. But before that, there’s the obligatory spoiler warning for WoW fans who don’t want to know anything yet. Let’s continue after the video.

Baine in the Dragon Islands?

For those who stayed tuned: The data miners found a magic spell that named Baine’s Justice, and which provides the descriptive text “Help Baine bring the Nokhud centaurs to justice”. Furthermore, the potion Baine’s Potion of Invisibility found, but it doesn’t help against Nokhud Warhounds. There are the quest items Unique headdress as well as Tauren Necklace. And then a new NPC named Bovan Windtotem. What could that mean?

WoW Lore fan Portergauge shares the following clues: Bovan Windtotem was part of an outcast group of tauren sent by Rexxar to retrieve Cairne’s son Baine.

And what is this story about? After the Third War, Baine accompanied his father Cairne when the tauren settled in Mulgore. A group of centaurs attacked the settlement and kidnapped Baine to force Cairne’s people to stop resisting. When Rexxar and his companions came to Mulgore to request Cairne’s assistance in fighting the Kul Tirans, Cairne refused, saying his “heart was dead”. One of Cairne’s followers asked Bovan’s group to search for Baine. With Bovan’s help, Rexxar found the centaur camp and was able to rescue Baine. When his son was safely reunited with him, Cairne promised the help Rexxar requested.
