Cities – Skylines: Remastered Edition for XSX, XSS and PS5 on 15.2. – News

Today Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have a Remastered Edition of Cities – skylines announced. It is an updated and specially adapted version for Xbox Series X|S and PS5, which will already be available on February 15, 2023 at an RRP of 39.99 euros. If you already own Cities – Skylines and its expansions for Xbox One or PS4, you will receive the Remastered Edition and all Remastered DLC up to the expansion Airports for free. The revised versions of the other DLC should be made available in the coming months. Conversely, as a buyer of the Remastered Edition, you also get access to the normal versions for Xbox One and PS4.

The updates in the remaster include:

• 25 buildable tiles, 16 more than Xbox One and PS4
• Quick selection tool
• UX improvements such as precision placements, distance display, and updated snap options
• New Environment Control Environment that allows you to customize time of day, rain, fog, and environment colors
• map editor
• the graphics performance should have been increased

In Cities – Skylines you can build your dream city, take care of road networks, bus routes and parks. You can ignite a smog-ridden industrial revolution or build a quiet seaside town that relies on renewable energy and tourists. Your citizens need education, care and security.
