FIFA 23 turns friendlies into a sweaty party – nasty task kills relaxation

In FIFA 23 The Future Stars Event is currently underway and players can diligently collect tokens to collect powerful rewards. But a token hides behind a really nasty task and ensures that the actually relaxed friendlies become torture.

If you want the best rewards during the Future Stars Event, you need to collect tokens. There should be a total of 30 pieces that will gradually come into play. They hide behind tasks, SBCs (Squad Building Challenges) and there are bonus tokens that can be found in packs.

Now for the second time there is a token that seems out of reach for most players and spoils the fun of playing.

What is this nasty task? It’s about the First Owner Fiesta quest, played in Ultimate Team’s Homegrown Elf friendly game mode. There are a total of 2 tokens to get hold of here.

The game is played with teams that consist exclusively of first-hand cards. So you have to play with a team (including the bench) that you have drawn from packs yourself. In addition, however, you can also use SBC players and task players.

The first token is given for a win and the second for 7 wins.

A task that doesn’t look that difficult at first glance, but there’s a catch: You can only complete 12 games in total. So if you lose 6 games, then the second token is no longer available and forever unreachable.

And that happens faster than you think, especially when the opponents seem to have had incredible pack luck and come up with top cards like TOTY-Mbappé, R9, Eusebio and so on, while you yourself have trouble finding good cards in the club that you did not purchase from the FUT Transfer Market.

• For me, the worst part of the first owner job is seeing what pack luck people have. I’ve seen Prime-Gullit, TOTY-Mbappé, WC-Cruyff, Eusebio, Marvel-Lucio, and many more endgame cards in just 4 games. Meanwhile, I play my Mid-Kaka and other average cards. It kind of hurts.”
