The Last of Us: Series star Bella Ramsey is excited to play Ellie and Dina’s relationship

The HBO series adaptation of The Last of Us celebrates success after success. The film adaptation of the first game is so well received that a second season has already been confirmed. It should then focus on the events of the second part and thus also the relationship between Ellie and Dina. Bella Ramsey (Ellie) is looking forward to that even now.

That’s what it’s about: The HBO series The Last of Us is based on the storyline of The Last of Us Part 1 in the first season. A second season is sure to come and then revolves around the story of TLOU 2. Accordingly, the lesbian relationship between Ellie and Dina also comes into it to carry.
Bella Ramsey was at the Happy, Sad, Confused Podcast guest and talked about the series there. It was also about the future and the filming of part 2 of the game. There is one special aspect that the series star finds particularly exciting:
“I’m really really excited about the Ellie-Dina story to be honest. I saw a compilation of it, I don’t know how they do it, but someone did a phenomenal edit of just the gameplay of the Ellie and Dina love story created. I’m really looking forward to playing that out.”
All fans have known that Ellie is a lesbian at least since the DLC Left Behind for the first The Last of Us. In it, Ellie kisses her friend Riley, who is not averse to the kiss. A few years later in The Last of Us Part 2, the older Ellie then has a longer, romantic relationship with Dina. It plays an important role in the plot of the game and accordingly must not be missing in the film adaptation.

When is season 2 coming? That’s not decided yet. But it will probably take quite a while. The first season is now running and if the second really films the sequel, Ellie would theoretically have to be much older in it. We’ll see whether the shooting here will take a certain amount of time or whether the series will solve the time jump differently.
