The Last of Us Series: What’s Hiding Underneath Kansas City in Episode 4?
In episode 4 of The Last of Us follows Joel and Ellie Kansas City. A group of rebels and their unscrupulous leader are not the only ones waiting for them there. One of the greatest enemies lurks underground.
This happens in Episode 4 of The Last of Us
Arriving in Kansas City, Joel and Ellie are ambushed by the so-called “Hunters”, whereupon a fight ensues. Kathleen, the leader of the Hunters then hunts them down and has their followers search every house.
But Kathleen is not only on the Search for Joel and Elliebut also after Henry and Sam. Perry, an officer and Kathleen’s confidant, Not only does he find clues to Henry and Sam in an abandoned house, he also makes a terrifying discovery.

The Last of Us: The Mushroom Monster From Below
One of the first trailers for the series already shows it: A meeting with the distorted to infinity, bloaters is inevitable. In the teaser for episode 5, the aired two days earlier is seen again as the monster rises from the rubble and flames.
So it is already certain that under the ground of the abandoned house a nest of infected hides, which includes the fearsome Bloater, the much harder to eliminate than a clicker, for example.
It takes time for an infected person to become a bloater several years. We will probably find out why he has presumably not yet appeared in the next episode experience.
It is likely, however, that the danger already discovered earlier and sealed off which is of course only a temporary solution. Thanks to the mushroom the infected continue to develop and are therefore getting stronger.
