Horizon Call of the Mountain presents launch trailer

Horizon Call of the Mountain will have as its protagonist a former Carja who seeks to restore his honor

The PlayStation VR2 launch lineup doesn’t have a huge number of major new games, but at the very least, it will be launching with one major flagship game in its initial lineup, Horizon Call of the Mountain. Ahead of the release of the peripheral and the game itself, Sony has also revealed a launch trailer focused on it.

Developed by guerrilla and firesprite, Horizon Call of the Mountain is a first-person title that focuses on intense combat against machines and plenty of climbing-focused cross-play. Players step into the shoes of Ryas, a former Shadow Carja seeking to restore his honor, who is offered his freedom (and a chance at redemption) by the Sun King Avad if he can help investigate a new threat and what is causing it.

Horizon Call of the Mountain launches for PlayStation VR2 on February 22. You can check out the trailer below to get a glimpse of its story, combat, climbing gameplay, and many machines.
