Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will feature specific mini-dungeons that will challenge players with complex puzzle tasks. One of these optional Jedi chambers is highlighted in the new gameplay trailer.
There’s a new gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. As part of IGN First, there is an excerpt from the action-adventure to see, commented by design director Jeff Magers. Shown is one of the new Jedi Chambers, which will make up a large part of Survivor’s side missions. Cal Kestis will find the first chamber in the game as the story progresses, all others on the various planets included in the game are then optional.
How the Jedi Chambers work in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The mini dungeons offer a style of gameplay than the rest of the game. Explorations, resource gathering and battles do not play a major role here, but complex environmental puzzles are in the foreground. Anyone who has played Zelda: Breath of the Wild should have a rough idea of the gameplay on offer: you have to combine various items (like switches and batteries) with Cal’s Jedi abilities in order to pave your way to the goal. As a reward, so-called perks await at the end, which primarily affect the combat skills of the protagonist.
