Tetris is certainly one of the most absurd ideas for a video game film adaptation to date. What’s the film about?

The Tetris film tells the story of Dutch entrepreneur Henk Rogers, played by Taron Egerton. He embarks on a journey to the Soviet Union to acquire the rights to the puzzle game. However, given the Cold War, this is proving to be quite a difficult undertaking.

The plot is based on the real one litigation, which shaped the release of Tetris in the late 1980s. There is currently no cinema release planned for the thriller with the big brand. Instead, the film will be released on March 31 on Apple TV Plus. It remains to be seen how the dramatic flick will ultimately fare in the ratings.
