Just got with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania heralded the 5th phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the 31st feature-length film in the superhero universe doesn’t seem to really take off. The box office results were a bit below expectations and the ratings on Rotten Tomatoes sound more like a little rotten than sun-ripened and fresh. Last weekend, colleague Gehrling even heard loud expressions of displeasure right in the cinema. But even if the start in phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe obviously not fully convincing, the events of the year after next will be the subject of a final debate Kang the Conqueror flow.
Marvel’s Avengers: Many heroes have lost their lives
The last two Avengers films claimed numerous victims, also on the part of the heroes. Black Widow, Gamora or Iron Man lost their lives in the fight against Thanos. At least since game of Thrones the screen death of popular figures has established itself as a popular but also daring stylistic device. Apparently, those responsible for Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige have already come to the conclusion, also in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to have one of the main heroes appear before their creator.
Marvel’s Avengers: Will This Superhero Die?
As insider Alex Perez dated “The Cosmic Circus” Podcast claims the writers at Marvel are plotting out one of the heroes Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to let die. Earlier comics such as Avengers Disassembled suggest that it is even about Scott LangPaul Rudd could act himself.
In order to add narrative weight to the fight against Kang, it sounds quite plausible to sacrifice one of the main characters. If you were angry now, you could say that Ant-Man, in contrast to Thor, Hulk or Spider-Man, would be the easiest to get over. At the May 01, 2025 we know more, because then starts Marvel’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in German cinemas.
