The Expanse: A Telltale Series: Fresh gameplay trailer shows more of the space adventure
Telltale Games and Deck Nine are currently working on a video game based on the sci-fi series The Expanse. After the last update was several months ago, longer gameplay scenes can now be seen for the first time.
The game puts you in the role of Camina Drummer, known from the series, who has some rather dangerous adventures aboard the Artemis. That’s how it will be in The Expanse: A Telltale Series where, in the new gameplay video, Drummer has to enter a UNN ship that has been hijacked by pirates.
The Expanse: New Zero Gravity Gameplay Trailer
Of course, the two-minute video does not show the complete section, but only a few excerpts. However, they give a good impression of what awaits you in The Expanse: You have to move in zero gravity, do a few smaller tasks and explore a relatively large amount. A lot has happened on the ship, which is not necessarily a pleasant surprise.
In addition, you can again make decisions that, in typical Telltale fashion, cannot necessarily be divided into black and white. The consequences of this should also have an influence on the course of the plot as usual.
In another Developer Diary the team also says that not only classic decisions will have an impact. The items you take with you on your explorations can also affect your squad’s morale.
Release planned for summer
If you’ve gotten a craving for The Expanse: A Telltale Series after watching the gameplay video, you’ll have to be patient for a while. The adventure should only in Summer 2023 for PC and consoles appear, although the latter have not yet been precisely defined. At least one release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S planned.
In addition to The Expanse: A Telltale Series, The Wolf Among Us 2 is also in development. Apart from the new announcement from 2019 So far, however, there is hardly any information about the successor to the Telltale adventure that was previously published in 2013.
