The Witcher 3: Reworked mod reworks more than 100 characters

from Sarah Petzold
A fan of The Witcher 3 has developed a mod that provides new and improved textures for more than 100 characters. The result is impressive and, according to the maker, ensures improved immersion.

The Witcher 3 is still popular with fans of the Witcher universe, which is why new mods are regularly released for the game, which is now almost eight years old. In particular, mods that improve the graphics of the role-playing game are popular with players – despite the fact that CD Projekt Red has now released a next-gen update for The Witcher 3.

Free mod brings NPCs to a graphical level with Geralt

But now a new mod is making a name for itself, which improves the visual quality of various characters in The Witcher 3

The programmer of the mod writes that his Characters Reworked Project is not a simple upscaling of the individual models, but completely new textures. According to him, some characters are even on the graphic level of next-gen Geralt. With the revision, the modder wants to improve the immersion in the game and prevent high-resolution Geralt standing next to low-resolution NPCs.

The result is definitely something to be proud of. Fans can download the mod for free on Nexusmods. It works with both the original version of The Witcher 3 and the next-gen version. To install the mod, you need to download all three parts and unzip them into The Witcher 3 mod folder.
