Ubisoft: Sanctions imposed on 19,000 accounts

Almost 19,000 Ubisoft accounts have been sanctioned for exploiting a vulnerability.

As Ubisoft’s support announced today, a fraudulent security hole has been identified in its games.

According to the code of conduct against fraudulent practices, the developer and publisher has a zero-tolerance policy when exploiting such a vulnerability

For this reason, sanctions have been pronounced for almost 19,000 Ubisoft accounts.

Support did not name which games were affected by this security gap and what the sanctions for these accounts would be.
